The SEMA Show is the annual gathering of aftermarket parts and accessory manufacturers, OEM’s and more to showcase to the trade audience the latest creative ideas, parts, and cars. The show is attended by tens of thousands who spend a week with over 2,500 exhibitors.
Scion is always on the floor with a variety of sanction custom builds featuring the top tuners in the import world. These cars range from one-off builds to concept cars that sometimes give us insight into future design.
While sales of the Scion brand have been down this year, there was no shortage of electricity and excitement here. And this year, the 2014 Scion FR-S won the crown of SEMA, the “Hottest Sport Compact” award.
The Scion Tuner Challenge this year featured the all-new 2014 Scion tC, and the top three finalists were on display at the Scion booth. The winner, “Simply tC” was announced and prizes awarded the three top picks.
Outside and throughout the show floor all models of Scion were represented. Show cars from private owners as well as tuners were scattered all over the Las Vegas Convention Center, presenting some of the top creating work in the scene. Check them out.
