At the Chicago Auto Show RAM introduced two new special-edition pickup packages, the RAM 1500 Copper Sport and the RAM 2500 & 3500 Night.

Limited to only 3,000 units, the 2017 RAM Copper Sport pickup comes in a special paint color called Copper Pearl and will be based on the popular Sport trim. Showing off its special color, the Copper Sport gets a body colored grille and bumpers front and rear, body colored mirror caps and door handles – all for a fully monochromatic look.

Popping off the unique color are blacked-out emblems all around and black graphics on the sport performance hood. Wheels however stayed with a satin polished look with 22-inch aluminum alloys on two-wheel drive models, 20-inch alloys on the four-wheel drive.

The color carried inside with copper-colored accent stitching throughout along with embroidery on the seats and headrests. Similar to the Rebel, the Copper Sport gets matching anodized trim surrounds and bezels throughout that really pop.

Also included is an all-black headliner and pillars and a top-deck Alpine premium sound system with nine speakers and a sub-woofer. The 2017 Ram 1500 Copper Sport comes in a Crew Cab with 5.7-liter V8 only and starts at $45,630.

For those wanting a heavy-duty truck with some extra flair, the RAM 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty Night edition brings the popular blacked out look up from the lighter duty RAM 1500.

Like the lighter duty Night package here you get body color bumpers front and rear combined with black 20-inch alloy wheels, blacked out grille and badges, and black-bezel headlamps. At the rear is the large format RAM lettered rear tailgate from the Power Wagon. Optional are also black running boards.

Inside are 10-way power and heated cloth and vinyl combination bucket seats, power-adjustable pedals and standard climate control. Trims and bezels feature blacked out chrome appearance and available is also the top-line Alpine audio system.

The RAM Heavy Duty Night can be had in Crew Cab, two or four-wheel drive and with any one of the three available engines including the 5.7 and 6.4-liter gas V8s or the 6.7-liter Cummins turbo-diesel. It’s also available in five different colors.

Pricing for the RAM Heavy Duty Night starts at $45,520 and they along with the RAM 1500 Copper Sport are expected to land in dealerships in about a month from now.
