Making its debut at the 2022 Detroit Auto Show, Lincoln’s best selling Corsair compact SUV enjoys a number of key updates for 2023 including revised styling inside and out, an expanded infotainment system, and next-generation ActiveGlide 1.2 hands-free advanced driver assistance features.

Striving for a more youthful feel, the 2023 Lincoln Corsair gets revised styling starting with a slightly larger grille and new LED headlamps with crisp wing-shaped daytime running lamps. New finishes cab be found on the grille and trims while new LED tail lights and updated wheel designs round out the styling changes.

Inside is where the big differences will be found. An updated dash design features a more sweeping look and new trims that elevate the sense of luxury in their tones with a new perforated star light pattern. A revised 12.3-inch LCD cluster with new graphics is standard.

Center stage is a larger 13.2-inch digital infotainment screen with SYNC4. It will benefit from over-the-air updates and new functionality with Alexa Built-in hands-free features. Two new colors are added for 2023 including Smoked Truffle and Eternal Red.

Driving the 2023 Lincoln Corsair can be enhanced by the segment-first Lincoln ActiveGlide 1.2 hands-free semi-autonomous driving features that operates at speeds up to 80 mph.

The system features lane change assist which can perform a hands-free lane change when the driver taps the turn signal. There’s also predictive speed assist, in-lane repositioning and an intersection assist feature to help alert drivers of active items in blind spots.

When it comes to powertrains, gone for 2023 is the 295 horsepower 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

The 2023 Lincoln Corsair will be standard with a carryover 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque that comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It’s available in both front wheel and all wheel drive.

Optional is a 2.5-liter plug-in hybrid with a 266 combined horsepower and standard all-wheel drive. It features drive modes Normal, Excite, Slippery and Conserve.

Two additional modes enhance the plug-in hybrid electric driving experience including Preserve EV which holds EV only battery power and Pure EV which chooses all-electric mode up to a point. If battery is low or max power is required, the gasoline engine can still step in.

The 2023 Lincoln Corsair is now available for ordering and will begin first deliveries in early 2023.
