With a 117-inch wheelbase and an overall length of 193-inches it comes slightly shorter than a Volvo XC90 and about the same size as a Genesis GV80. Styling stems from Volvo’s Scandinavian DNA and detail ethos with a handsome and athletic stance no matter which angle you view it from.

Riding on an all-new EV platform to be shared with future Volvo models, the Polestar 3 features all-wheel drive with 189 horsepower and 620 pound-feet of torque standard with a range of 300 miles. A Performance Pack step up gives you 517 horsepower and 671 pound-feet of torque but takes range down to 270 miles.

Both use the same 111 kWh battery than can charge in as soon as 30 minutes using a fast charger and about 11 hours on a Level 2. It’s pretty heavy at around 5800. Stopping all of that are huge Brembo drive-by-wire brakes with 15.7-inch rotors at the front and 15.4-inches at the rear.

Suspension is a fully automatic air ride system tied to drive modes and driver selectable. It features a multi-link arrangement both front and rear. Wheels sizes range from 21-inches to 22-inches. With the power and suspension it can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

The cabin features top-end design featuring high use of sustainable materials. Design and ethos in short is what you would expect here, so I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Notables are a standard panoramic roof and soft-closing doors.

Technology too is a novel too long to list. The highlights, and infotainment system and network back end powered by a next-generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platform from Qualcomm. The 14.5-inch center display is powered by an Android Automotive OS and features Google built-in functionalities. And yes you can get a 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins with 3D surround sound system among other things.

Also part of the package and upgrades are some pretty comprehensive advanced driving assistance systems that will be semi-autonomous capable today and even more so in the future with over the air updates.
